Current Reads

I’m currently reading Leviathan Wakes by James SA Corey and I’m loving it. I have a little under 100 pages left and plan to finish it tonight. This one has finally got me into a good reading pace and I’ve been reading close to or over 100 pages a day. It’s great to be excited about reading again!

Recently Finished

I’m calling it finished but I actually DNF’d The Stolen Heir by Holly Black. I really enjoyed the Cruel Prince series but this was just boring. I didn’t like the characters and couldn’t bring myself to read more than about 10 pages at a time without my mind wandering. I read 100 pages and gave up, I just couldn’t do it. I think I’m done with Elfhame.

Up Next

I think my next read will be Empire of Ivory by Naomi Novik (4th book in the Temeraire series) but totally reserved the right to change my mind. I’m really trying to keep my reading momentum going especially with the Trope-ical Readathon coming up (if you’re unfamiliar, check out my TBR and details on signing up here) so I’m definitely planning on a mood read.
