Happy Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads

I am almost done with Malice by Heather Walter. This fantasy retelling of Sleeping Beauty really has me hooked. I really love this world, it’s similar to the book/musical Wicked in that it takes Maleficent and not only makes her the main character, but makes her a this badass and totally relatable character. It got a little slow at one point but oh boy, it’s mostly fantastic.
I’m still listening to The Midnight Bargain by CL Polk. I’m about halfway and enjoying it.
I haven’t continued reread of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, probably will get back to it in the next few weeks.
Recently Finished

First I finished The Beholden by Cassandra Rose Clarke. This was an ARC and I really hated it, I gave it 1 star. If you want to know why I hated it, check out my full review here.
Then I read The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. This was fun and exactly what I needed to avoid a slump after a 1-star fantasy. I gave it 4 stars.
Up Next

While reading Malice, I looked at NetGalley and saw the second book in the duology was just listed. I requested and just got approved yesterday. So not only am I jumping to a May release date ARC but also reading a duology back to back, it’s craziness. But I’m loving this idea and hope this duology proves to be a winner.
Rhe Midnight Bargain has such an amazing cover. I hope you enjoy this selection

The Love Hypothesis has been one I want to read for a while, and The Hunger Games is still one of my favorite trilogies. Thanks for introducing me to Malice, that premise sounds amazing! What’s your opinion on The Hunger Games?

I loved The Love Hypothesis. A shame about the 1 star. I can’t believe how fast the year is going already. I have signed up for a Blog Tour for 1 March!
