I’m currently reading Chasing Fireflies by Chloe Fowler. This is my only remaining ARC from NetGalley being published this month. This is a YA contemporary with a romance. I haven’t gotten too far but the writing is good and the premise is interesting, I’m interested to see where it goes.

I’m also continuing my reread of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. My pace has slowed down a bit as I’ve been working late and haven’t needed a few pages to read before bed but still loving it as I always do. Go Team Peeta!

Recently Finished

I finished While We Were Dating by Jasmine Guillory. This was yet another installment of The Wedding Date series and another solid read for me. I gave this one 3.5 stars, pretty consistent with the rest of the series. These are not the greatest romance books ever written but they sure are fun. You can see my full review here.

I then decided I was in the mood for a quick read over the weekend and picked up A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. This is a quirky little sci-fi novella that’s got a lot to say. It wasn’t quite a homerun for me but I did really enjoy it and gave it 4 stars. You can read my full review here.

This time I’m really not kidding, my next read will be Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Please, please, please let me like it even close to as much as I loved The Martian, I need a book to get me excited and really back into reading everyday like I normally do.
