Weekly Posts, WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – August 25, 2021

Happy WWW Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Current Reads

I am very close to the end of All the Ever Afters by Danielle Teller. I’m really only reading this to fulfill the untold stories prompt of the Trope-ical Readathon but I am enjoying it. It’s a much bleaker and dark story than I was expecting but it’s keeping my interested and is a more unique story than I was expecting.

I’m just over halfway through the audiobook of The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon. I didn’t make much progress this week as I ended up not traveling but I’ll finish it before the end of the month. Still not loving it but it’s keeping my attention so we’ll see how it goes.

I’ve been rereading Harry Potter since the fall and I’ve started actively reading the last book again. I wasn’t really excited for my time loop trope book and realized I could use this for the alternate prompt of a reread.

I haven’t read any more of The Mask of Mirrors by M.A. Carrick but still have it on pause.

Recently Finished

The only book I’ve finished since last week is Obsidio. I had a great time with this trilogy and was sad to see it end. Another 5 star read.

Up Next

I’m nearing the end of the readathon but the three books I’m working on shouldn’t take the rest of the month. I’ll see if I can squeeze in one more, maybe Tweet Cute or possibly one of my ARCs for the published in 2021 prompt.

    1. I heard a lot about The Sun is also a Star but it’s very insta-lovey and has some strange introspective parts. It’s not really bad but not really good either. Others love it but at this point at least, it’s not for me.
