Happy WWW Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads
I started Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff last night. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this trilogy wraps up.
I’m about halfway through the audiobook of The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon. Not loving it but it’s keeping my attention so we’ll see how it goes.
I haven’t read any more of The Mask of Mirrors by M.A. Carrick but still have it on pause.
I’ve been rereading Harry Potter since the fall. I pick it up between books. I’ve read it countless times, I can pick it up wherever. I’m about 175 pages into the last book, I’ll finish it eventually reading the occasional page before bed or when I don’t have time to start a new book.
Recently Finished
I finished 3 books since last Wednesday.
First, I finished This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron. I was really excited about this one but it was not for me. I ended up giving it 2 stars. You can read my full review here.
Then I read my ARC of Meet Me at the Summit by Mandi Lynn. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this YA contemporary, I gave it 4 stars. You can read my full review here.
Then last night I finished The Other Side of Perfect by Mariko Turk and I loved it. I gave it 5 stars (really a 4.5 rounded up) for giving me great nostalgic vibes of my high school theater days. You can read my full review here.
Up Next
I can’t decide which book from my Trope-ical Readathon TBR I want to pick up next…maybe All the Ever Afters for my second team challenge?
I hope you enjoy Obsidio! That whole trilogy was such a ride and I loved the journey of it all~

The Sun Is Also a Star is one of my favorite YA romances. The use of the questions to fall in love is such a nice touch to the slow burn romance element.
I discovered another favorite for me for YA romances in Tokyo Ever After this week. It’s a slow burn romance with a forbidden romance and enemies to lovers plot. I talk about it on my WWW Wednesday post here:
