Top Ten Tuesday – Books with Animals on the Cover

Happy Tuesday! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly feature run by That Artsy Reader Girl where you choose ten books to fit a weekly prompt. This week’s prompt is books with animals in the title of one the cover. I went with on the cover and here are some of my favorites from both my already read and my TBR

  • Engines of Empire by R.S. Ford – I really want to read this one and that bird is awesome.
  • Godkiller by Hannah Kaner – A truly great cover and I’ve heard good things but this recent debut.
  • The Honeymooners by Christina Lauren – I really enjoyed this one and the toucan is adorable.
  • Magic Steeped in Poison by Judy I. Lin – Possibly my favorite cover of all time and a book I enjoyed.
  • A Light in the Sky by Shina Reynolds – I fun classic YA fantasy that is indie and has a pretty great horse cover.
  • The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis – One of my favorites of the year a few years ago and has so many animals on the cover.
  • The Black Flamingo by Dean Atta – This cover is beautiful and so is the story inside.
  • Saving Seymour by LN Loch – This cover is so simple and cute and the story was too.
  • Loyalty, Love and Vermouth by Eric Peterson – I literally requested this on NetGalley because the dog looks like my Westie, Missy who passed away in 2020.
  • A Gebra Named Al by Wendy Isdell – It’s a Gebra named Al with Algebra stripes, there is nothing better and my dorky little self adored this book in 3rd grade.
