Top Ten Tuesday – Characters I’d Like to Meet

Happy Tuesday! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly feature run by That Artsy Reader Girl where you choose ten books to fit a weekly prompt. This week’s prompt is bookish people I’d like to meet. I decided to go with characters I’d like to meet.

  • Mark Watney from The Martian by Andy Weir – Mark is hilarious and he’s have some amazing stories to tell.
  • Evelyn Hugo from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – Evelyn would have such wonderful stories to tell.
  • Blix from Matchmaking for Beginners by Maddie Dawson – I adore this book and especially love Blix and her houseful of misfits.
  • Everyone from The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune – I love all of the characters in this book and would want to me them together and hang out at the house and have some adventures. I can’t pick just one.
  • Sam Masur from Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin – I fell in love with the characters in this book and would like to talk with Sam, I think we’d have some fun.
  • Temeraire from His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik – Temeraire is one of my favorite animal companions. I’d buy him something shiny and we’d have some good talks.
  • Mosscap from A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers – Mosscap wants to know what humans need, we’d have a lovely chat.
  • Alex and Poppy from People we Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry – I didn’t love the ending of this book but I do love this couple, especially Alex.
  • Paul from A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray – I adore this series and most of all Paul. I think we’d get along but also would love to hear about their travels with the Firebird.
  • Bronwyn from A Stitch in Time by Kelley Armstrong – Not only does Bronwyn seem nice but she’d probably bring me baked goods and she could tell me about her time travels.
