Happy Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads

I started Twin Crowns by Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber last night. I’ve heard great things about this one, I’m excited and enjoying it so far.
My reread of Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is on hold during the Trope-ical Readathon.
Recently Finished

I finished 4 books this week and I’m still doing well with my Trope-ical Readathon pace. It’s a little scary….this is so unlike me.
First I finished my first reread of The Martian by Andy Weir and I loved it so so much! It has cemented this one as one of my favorite books of all time, I love it completely and will revisit it often.
Then I finished Traitor’s Blade by Sebastien de Castell. This was fun and I plan to continue with the series. I enjoyed it a lot but there were some slow parts and not a huge amount of world building. But I have high hopes for the series and gave it 4 stars.
Then I read Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher. This was a fun, quick read. I often have issues with short books but this one had a complete story and world. There were a few little parts that seemed rushed, particularly a few action/pivotal scenes which was a little disappointing. I gave this 4 stars, it was a good time and I understand why it’s getting a lot of love.
Lastly, I finished Rivals by Katharine McGee yesterday. This was another fun and gossipy American Royals book. It’s not great by so many standards but it’s oh so much fun, another 4 stars. I hate Daphne with every fiber of my being, a fourth book seems to be coming and I will read it to hopefully see her hit by a bus.
Up Next
Leaving my full Trope-ical readathon TBR here as I have no idea what I’m picking up next. The ones in pink I already finished. I keep going back and forth on what’s next….might need a random number generator I’m so unsure. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

I’m happy you had a good time with Nettle and Bone!

American Royals has been next on my reading list for ages. It has been pushed back due to Blog Tours.
I enjoyed Finley Donovan Is Killing It.
Have a great week!

I don’t like the term guilty pleasure but it’s really what American Royals is. Super fun, gossipy drama.

Interesting. I have wanted to read it for a long time. I really need to get my finger out and get to it. I just keep getting distracted – there are Christmas books coming out at the moment and I am a sucker for those!
