Happy Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
My main current read is Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I’ve been taking my time with this one but I’m loving it. The writing is really good and the plot and characters are really unique.
I haven’t done much in my reread of Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins but it’s still slowly chugging along when I’m in the mood.
The only book I finished this week was The Littlest Library by Poppy Alexander. This was a bit of a disappointment. The cover and idea of this library seemed so cute and different but the story was stale. It was a contemporary story I’ve read and watched many times before with a hint of romance that hit the breaks and turned angsty after an almost inst-lovey meet cute. I gave it 3 stars, it was fine but nothing exciting.
The final book in The Extraordinaries trilogy, Heat Wave by TJ Klune, was released yesterday. My library refused to buy it so I did something I never do and bought it myself. It will be delivered today and I’m really excited to get back to these funny characters.
