Top Ten Tuesday – Summer 2022 TBR

Happy Tuesday! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly feature run by That Artsy Reader Girl where you choose ten books to fit a weekly prompt. This week’s prompt is the top ten books on my summer TBR.

First, I have three books on my NetGalley shelf that will be published this summer. Actually, they’ll all be published in mid-July so these are right at the top of my list.

  • The Littlest Library by Poppy Alexander
  • Hooked by A.C. Wise
  • Eclipse the Moon by Jessie Mihalik

After those, I’m not totally sure what I’ll be in the mood for but here are the top contenders. I couldn’t keep this to 7 so here are my top 10 not including NetGalley ARCs. Knowing me, I’ll be lucky to read even half of these over the summer especially considering the next round of the Tropeical Readathon is coming in August and I haven’t seen the prompts yet.

  • The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E Harrow
  • The Chandler Legacies by Abdi Nazemian
  • Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
  • Black Powder War by Naomi Novik
  • Daughters of Sparta by Claire Heywood
  • Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel
  • Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher
  • The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne
  • Charmcaster by Sebastien de Castell
  • Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

  1. I absolutely LOVED Gideon the Ninth! Hope you do, too. I’m reading Nettle and Bone right now, and it’s amazing. I really want to read Shadow of the Gods as well (though, to be fair, I always want to read anything with a big, fierce dragon on the cover!). Enjoy your summer reads.

    Here’s my TTT post.

  2. The Littlest Library has such a cute cover — I need to know more! I’ve read a few of these — really loved Nettle & Bone and The Ten Thousand Doors of January, and I’m looking forward to reading Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow as well. Enjoy!
