Happy Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads
After a pretty terrible reading month in February, I’m excited to be participating in the Trope-ical Readathon and hopefully will have a great reading month in March. Only one day in and here’s what I’m reading:

This readathon lets you count books you start ahead of time as long as you read half of it in March. So I decided to start with my densest read and find out what everyone’s been talking about with Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb. I’m about halfway through and I’m loving it. The writing style and world-building is very approachable and enjoyable. I definitely think I’m looking at a series I’ll be enjoying for several more books.
I’m still continuing my reread of The Hunger Games with Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I’m a few chapters in at this point but unlikely to make much progress in March unless I decide to use this to fulfill a prompt. Most likely will be picking this back up in April.
Recently Finished

The only book I finished in the last week was The Rumor Game by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra. This was ok, I gave it 3 stars. It was a great idea and premise but I just didn’t like the characters at all. It was much more of a contemporary than the thriller is was billed as and a contemporary with all unlikeable characters just isn’t for me. You can read my full review here.
Up Next
I have no idea what I’m going to read next. I can’t decide if I want to go with something quick to get a bunch of points or keep tackling the longer books to get them our of the way. So here’s my March Trope-ical Readathon TBR post, it will be something from that.
