Happy Tuesday! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly feature run by That Artsy Reader Girl where you choose ten books to fit a weekly prompt. This week’s prompt is a freebie that is supposed to somehow deal with love. I’ve decided to go with the obvious and talk about my favorite romance books.
Romance is not my favorite genre but I do enjoy a good romance when I’m in the right mood. Here are my favorites:

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I have lost count of how many times I have read this book and I love it every time. I get that some people think the idea is creepy but I fell in love with this story as a teenager and just love it. It’s so unique and just a wonderful love story.

A Stitch in Time by Kelley Armstrong
Another time travel romance but this one is a new favorite. I read this in December 2021 and gave it 5 stars easily. The English setting, the time travel, a good mystery, and ghosts are wrapped together in this spectacular love story. I’m anxiously awaiting getting the second book in my hands to go back to this world.

A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
Another one I read as a teenager, this story is amazing. The book, the movie, both awesome. I know most people prefer The Notebook but I’m an A Walk to Remember girl through and through.

A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray
This trilogy is primarily sci-fi but has a heavy romance component. I love both parts and the romance is a great one. It’s a bit of a love triangle but really the one guy is just thrown in and never really a contender. I love how this couple is shown falling in love in all different circumstances through the multiverses. I’ve read this series twice to date and will definitely read it more times.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
This is actually a fantasy but I think we can all agree that’s it’s also a romance. I love Rhys and Feyre. This series is awesome but this one is definitely the best and oh boy, the smut is top-notch.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
This book is enemies-to-lovers at its best. It’s so funny and well done.

Matchmaking for Beginners by Maddie Dawson
I can’t say enough good things about this book that never gets the love it deserves. I’ve read it at least 3 times and I laugh and cry every time. It’s quirky and real and magical and just perfect.

The Meeting Point by Olivia Lara
This book totally took my by surprise. I expected a cute romance but I was totally into it and loved every minute. It’s a contemporary romance but with a twist that made it just unique enough to get 5 stars out of me, a rarity these days for romance.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
This is a historical fiction/contemporary fiction/romance and I can’t say enough good things. It’s fantastic and I love it entirely as a whole. The true romance in there is such a gem. If you somehow haven’t read this one yet, do it!

If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy
This Cinderella retelling is adorable and I loved how it twisted the classic tale into a contemporary romance without feeling forced. The “mice” are the best and they alone are worth the read, it’s an adorable retelling.
I’ve heard good things about The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

Evelyn and Hating Game are two of my favorites! I’m planning on reading A Thousand Pieces of You this year! I’ve had the trilogy sitting on my bookshelf for far too long.

I’m not much for romance either. Not surprisingly, I haven’t read any of these books. I do like Armstrong, though, so I might have to check out A STITCH IN TIME. It sounds like a good one!
Happy TTT!
