Happy Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads

I’m currently reading my ARC of The Beholden by Cassandra Rose Clarke. Oh boy, I am not liking this one but I’m determined to finish and I’m almost done, I should finish tonight or tomorrow. We’ll see if I can find something redeeming in the ending, this one has been a rough ride. So sad, the cover is soooo pretty!
I also started listening to The Midnight Bargain by CL Polk. I haven’t gotten very far but it has a good setup so far. Another long drive for work tomorrow and looking forward to listening to a few hours of this one.
I finally made some progress on my reread of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I’m about halfway done which isn’t so bad for just reading a chapter here and there before bed. I love that I’ve read this book so many times that I can pick it up after over a month away and immediately know within a handful of words exactly where I am in the story. I’m almost at the part guaranteed to make me cry (if you know, you know) so we’ll see when I’m in the mood to tackle that chapter, I think it’s next or maybe the one after that. Regardless, I’m thoroughly enjoying my reread and time with these characters who I love so much.
Recently Finished

The only book I finished this week was Artemis by Andy Weir. I really liked this one, I gave it 4 stars. It had a lot of the things I loved about Weir’s other books, his combination of science and humor is fabulous. But the story didn’t quite grab me like the other 2 which I gave 5 stars immediately and can’t stop raving about. Still glad I read it and still 4 stars but not Weir’s best.
Up Next

Next up, I plan to read The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this one and I need a fun read after my slog through a poorly done fantasy. I hope it lives up to the hype.
Enjoy your reading! I totally agree about Artemis, I really enjoyed it but it didn’t quite live up to Weir’s adult books for me 😀
