Happy Tuesday! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday, the weekly feature run by That Artsy Reader Girl where you choose ten books to fit a weekly prompt. This week’s prompt is my most anticipated releases for the first half of 2022.
I don’t follow new releases super closely but there are definitely some that have caught my eye. Here are the books I’m looking forward to reading that have a publication date in the first half of 2022.

- The Ivory Key by Akshaya Raman – January 4
- Fire Becomes Her by Rosiee Thor – February 1
- Amari and the Great Game by BB Alston – February 1
- The Chandler Legacies by Abdi Nazeman – February 15
- The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh – February 22
- Gallant by VE Schwab – March 1
- Fevered Star by Rebecca Roanhorse – April 19
- By the Book by Jasmine Guillory – May 3
- Book of Night by Holly Black – May 3
- Rivals by Katharine McGee – May 31
I forgot to include Gallant on my list too.
My TBR pile is increasing exponentially today!

I’m sure everyone’s having that problem! Too many books and too little time

Book of Night has been on so many lists this week. I hope it’s good!

The Ivory Key and Fire Becomes Her both sound really interesting and they have stunning covers

I hope you enjoy The Chandler Legacies as much as I did. It had a nice balance of heavy and light with huge doses of friendship. I was excited to see there was going to be a third American Royals book because I was mad when I thought book 2 was the end. Now McGee can fix what she wrecked.

Me too! I saw a friend mark Rivals on Goodreads and was really excited. McGee has some work ahead of her but those books are so fun!

I need to pick up Black Sun already. I have loved every Rebecca Roanhorse novel I’ve picked up. Happy reading!
