Happy WWW Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Current Reads

I’m nearly done with All Systems Red by Martha Wells. It’s pretty good although I expected it to be funny or witty and it’s not quite meeting the mark I thought it would.
I started Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castel and I’m about a third of the way through. I’m really enjoying this one. The world building is great and the writing style is really easy to read.
I’m still doing my reread of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins but haven’t read much lately but I’ll see it again in 2022!
Recently Finished
I didn’t do WWW last week because I was traveling but here’s what I’ve finished in the least 2 weeks. Only 2 books.

For my first book of the month, I read The Last She by HJ Nelson. This was a weird read, it didn’t feel like a complete story. I ended up at 3 stars. You can read my feel review here.
Then I listened to the audiobook of Happily this Christmas by Susan Mallery. This is part of the Happily Inc series which I haven’t read but you can read as standalone. This was the only Christmassy audiobook my library had available when I was going to do a bunch of driving in 1 day. It kept my attention but I could have done with more Christmas and less drama. It was fine but not anything special so I won’t be picking up the others.
Up Next

I’m not off to the best start of the Reindeer Readathon. You can see my full TBR in this blog post. I’m thinking I’ll try Artemis next.
I reread Hunger Games series in the very early days of the first lockdown and enjoyed them so much! I hope you do too!
