WWW Wednesday – October 27, 2021

Happy WWW Wednesday! If you’re unfamiliar with WWW Wednesday, it’s a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three W’s are simple:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Current Reads

Apparently I’m in the mood to read books about teenagers in fight-to-the-death competitions. I started All of Us Villains by Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Herman. This is an eARC from NetGalley, set to be published in early November. I’m about halfway and hoping to finish in the next few days. It’s pretty good so far but a lot of POVs that I keep getting confused. We’ll see how it plays out.

I’m also continuing my reread of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I’m slowly making my way through, reading a little here and there.

Recently Finished

I finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and oh boy, I loved it! It wasn’t quite as good as The Martian but still wonderful and 5 stars all the way. If you have any interest in sci-fi and haven’t picked these up, do it! You can read my full review here.

Up Next

My dilemma of whether to pick up my ARCs early to avoid a time crunch or read the next book on my regular shelf continues. This time, I’ll either be picking up Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer or A Light in the Sky by Shina Reynolds. I’ll see what I pick in the moment. Hopefully I’ll eventually get back to my 2 books a week normal reading pace and can spread my ARCs out a bit more but it’s been slow going on all reading for a while now.
