Current Reads
I’m currently reading an eARC of Love, Chai and Other Four-Letter Words by Annika Sharma. This might have come out yesterday, the date in NetGalley got updated but Goodreads still says October 5th. This is a contemporary romance that will be the start of a series about a group of Indian friends. I’m flying through it and overall enjoying it but also not totally sold, we’ll see how the second half goes.
After finishing another read of the full Harry Potter series recently, I found myself missing having a familiar comfort read to have for right before bed. So I picked up The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I love this series and have read it enough times that reading a chapter at a time is no issue. I’ll be slowly making my way through this one and then the remainder of the trilogy.
Recently Finished
I finished my eARC of Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao on Sunday and it was released yesterday. This was so good! I gave it 5 stars and haven’t stopped thinking about it. You can read my full review here.
Up Next
My third and final ARC on my immediate TBR is Sistersong by Lucy Holland which will be published on October 5th. I’m excited about this one and hoping to wrap it up over the weekend before heading to Disney World for the 50th Anniversary next week!!
