Current Reads
I’m currently reading an eARC of Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao. This book comes out on the 21st and I requested it at the last minute after seeing multiple rave reviews. I haven’t been in the best reading mood but hoping to turn that around now that my latest knitting project is done. So far, the idea is super interesting and the writing is very good. Hoping this can pull me out of a bit of a slump.
Recently Finished
I’ve finished two books in the last two weeks and with a 1 star and a 3 star, I’m starting to get slumpy and hoping it ends soon.
I finished the audiobook of Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim. This just wasn’t for me, I gave it 3 stars. You can read my full review here.
I also finished my eARC of Where the Stars Sing by Aminah Fox and unfortunately, like most early reviewers, I didn’t like this one. I gave it 1 star, you can read my full review here.
Up Next
I was planning on reading one of my library books but with reading slow and two more ARCs that come out on October 5th, I’ll probably reach for one of those next. These are the books I need to finish by the 5th.
