Six for Sunday – 2021 Books on Your TBR

It’s Sunday and time for Six for Sunday! This is a weekly blog feature started by A Little But a Lot. This week’s prompt is 2021 books on my TBR. Now, next week is 2021 books I’m excited for which seems really similar. So for this, I’m going with books published in 2021 already that I plan to read at some point.

  • Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston – I’m not a huge reader of middle grade but I’ve heard awesome things about this one.
  • Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I had this from the library at one point but just never was in the mood for it and ended up returning it unread. I loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I’ll definitely read this eventually but the blurb and reviews don’t have me super excited.
  • Malice by Heather Walter – This is a Sleeping Beauty retelling that I’ve heard great things about.
  • The Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron – I added this to my TBR immediately after finishing Cinderella is Dead. I picked it up from the library a few days ago and will be reading it this month.
  • Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir – I loved The Martian so much, just waiting to get my hands on this one.
  • The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He – That cover is beautiful and the reviews are great. I look forward to trying this new dystopian.

Stay tuned for these other Six for Sunday prompts in August:

  • August 15th – 2021 books you’re excited for
  • August 22nd – 2021 books you could/will reread
  • August 29th – 2021 books you bought because of the cover
