Six for Sunday – Books with Sun in the Title or on the Cover

It’s Sunday and time for Six for Sunday! This is a weekly blog feature started by A Little But a Lot. This week’s prompt is books with “sun” in the title or a sun on the cover. This one was a lot harder than I thought it would be. A lot of books have planets/stars/moon or sunrise/sunset but an actual sun is harder to find. Still I found six in my read books on Goodreads:

  • Flash Fire by TJ Klune– I think that’s a sun? It might be a moon but it’s yellow so I’m saying it’s a sun.
  • Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley – Such a beautiful cover with a sun in the middle.
  • The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu – Three suns on this translated sci-fi’s cover.
  • Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse – One of my favorite reads of 2021 so far.
  • The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory – Definitely a small yellow sun in the middle towards the top.
  • A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini – I had to go back pretty far to find this last one but I read this one after The Kite Runner.

Next week’s prompt is favorite reads of 2021 so far.
